Alpha’s - Alpha’s CHAPTER 29
Chapter 29
Tabitha’s POV
“You’re unbelievable!”
Hearing Derek’s words, I realized that he had been out of his mind.
Yet he looked miserable, his pupils flickering with golden light.
That was his wolf struggling, trying to take over his body.
Then he accidentally touched my wound and tore it open. Fresh blood seeped through my clothes immediately.
“Crystal!” I shouted in my mind.
Crystal finally responded to me and took control of my body right away.
My claws reached out for Derek’s wrist, releasing my intimidating Luna aura.
Derek was shocked at first, but soon came to his senses.
He withdrew his hand stiffly slowly.
I collapsed onto the ground the next minute. Derek took a step closer, intending to check my wound. But I backed away immediately, staring at him with caution.
“You got hurt?” Derek’s voice was hoarse as he stared at my blood–soaked clothes.
I stood up from the ground quickly and went to grab my jacket.
As I walked past him and headed towards the door, Derek grabbed my arm.
“Let me check your wound.”
“A wolf would never expose its belly to its enemies,” I said coldly and then shook off his hand, getting out of the place quickly.
I thought I was gonna die when Derek was choking me. After surviving that horrible moment, I felt nothing but utter despair. I’d never been this close to death, and it didn’t turn out to be as easy as I
I had imagined.
I realized that the Black Thorn Pack was no longer a safe place for me, although I wasn’t yet sure whether he lost his mind because Vilda’s death reminded him of Elena.

This place was simply too dangerous.
Quite disappointed at Derek, Crystal showed no objection to me leaving here.
After I left the Black Thorn Pack, it started raining-
Without an umbrella at hand, I had to hail a taxi.
After getting seated, I realized that I didn’t even have the wallet with me..
After hesitating for a moment, I asked the driver to take me to Orson’s hospital.
“It’s cold, Miss? Why are you going to the hospital alone? You’d better get someone beside when getting out late. Several single gilrs have been reported missing recently, you know.”
The driver warned me kindly.
As my body gradually warmed up, I forced a smile at the driver, “Thank you. My family are waiting for me at the hospital.”
“Are they?” I couldn’t help but ask myself bitterly. I didn’t even have one now.
After arriving at the hospital, I asked the on–duty doctor to get Orson for me.
Orson soon rushed out, paying the taxi fare for me.
“What happened?”
“Please help with my wound again, Orson,” I asked without hesitation.
Orson looked down at my body immediately, shocked to see the bloodstains on my clothes. “Get on the bed now!”
I made it to the hospital bed slowly.
After a quick inspection, Orson started handling my wound.
“Thank God nothing serious. But why did your wound get torn open again?” Orson asked.
“I was attacked by a rogue,” I replied in a weak voice.
After changing the herbs on my wound, Orson helped me get dressed and sit up. “You need to be
particulalry careful with your wound, Tabitha. There’s a chance you’ll recover as long as you won’t get hurt again. How about visiting the forest again?”

Chapter 29
“I don’t really want to.” I shook my head.
“Tabitha, remember you’re the daughter of the Silver Moon Pack’s Alpha. You got the blood of an Alpha running in you. You’re shining because of who you are, not because you’re someone’s Luna,” Orson tried to cheer me up.
“Thank you, Orson. I think I just need some more time.“I smiled gratefully at him.
Maybe in Orson’s eyes, I was down because Derek chose another woman over me.
But the truth was that I realized that there was no way out between Derek and me.
I knew clearly that Derek no longer loved Elena. But he’d never forget her. And he’d be trapped in the pain of losing her for the rest of his life, even if he decided to give up on avenging her death.
“I respect your decision then,” Orson sighed.
I felt much better after a brief break. Although there was still burning pain from the wound, I forced myself to stand up and decided to leave.
“I really appreciate your help, Orson. But just leave me alone from now on. Derek is a dangerous, possessive werewolf. I don’t want you to get involved in the matters between me and him.”
Walking out of the hospital, I took out my phone.
After hesitating for a while, I dialed Gloria’s number. “What’s up, gal? You missed me?” Gloria’s cheerful voice sounded from the other end of the call.
“Can you come pick me up, Gloria?”
