Christine immediately sensed something from Leonard’s words. After all, she had managed to take a place in Fittro Club for years..
Her delicate brows furrowed as she asked, “Hold on. A dangerous job? What are you referring to?”
ristine thought. ‘Gloria must have lost her mind. She hasn’t fully recovered yet, and she has already come back here, asking me for a job. However, I’m not insane or stupid. Who says I’m going to give her
what she wants?‘
Christine said seriously, I’m not that heartless, OK? She came back before she recovered, but I never gave her any work to do. Well, the only exception is that unfamiliar guest a few days ago. But he didn’t give her a hard time.”
Leonard didn’t think Christine was lying. He probed, “You know Toby, from Blue Moon Pack, right?”
“Toby? The Alpha of the Blue Moon Pack? Yes, I know him. What about him?” Christine asked in confusion.
“He was a guest here today. He was in Room 3 on the third floor. Leonard frowned. Then he continued, “Christine, something happened on the third floor today. And you don’t have a clue at all? Seriously?”
Christine was stunned. Meanwhile, she reorganized Leonard’s words in her mind, trying to sort things out.
Toby, the Alpha of the Blue Moon Pack, came to Fittro Club today. He was in Room 3 on the third floor. And something happened on the third floor.
Her eyes widened instantly.
“Gloria!” Christine sprang to her feet, and the chair she was sitting on fell to the floor with a thump.
Christine grabbed Leonard’s shirt. She gave off the dangerous aura of an Alpha and said anxiously, “Tell me everything you know!”
“Christine, as the leader of Fittro Club, you fail to live up to your title. I suppose that your carefree life has made you less vigilant. After such a thing happened in your club, you still had no idea. Leonard was the guard of Patrick’s pack. So, he wasn’t intimidated by Christine,
“Cut the crap. I just got back here. Tell me what happened while I was away. Why did you bring medicine to Gloria? What happened to her?”
The last time–Leonard saw Christine being so fierce was two years ago. He had never seen her like this ever since she became Fittro Club’s general manager.
He was not used to the way she was now. He coughed and said, “Let go of me first.”
“Tell me first,” Christine insisted.
Leonard was helpless. He could only tell Christine everything that had happened today briefly.
Hearing Leonard’s words, Christine was furious.
She immediately stood up and shook off Leonard. Then she quickly walked out and said, “T’ll go confront

Christine didn’t have any intention of suppressing her Alpha aura. She walked directly to the Public Relations Department.
Along her way, everyone she walked past could feel inexplicable pressure. And the werewolf staff in Fittro Club were more intimidated by her Alpha aura.
They were confused. Someone asked curiously, “What’s wrong with Christine?”
“I don’t know.”
“I think she is heading to the Public Relations Department.”
“What did the janitor do this time?”
“Stop talking like that behind Gloria’s back. She is hard–working and has never stood in your way, has she?” Annie was annoyed. She said coldly, “We are waitresses. Let’s just do our job, OK? If you keep talking about others behind their backs, you’ll be in trouble someday.”
After saying that, Annie looked at Lillian, who looked distracted in the corner, and said, “Go to Room 2. The guests inside were complaining about you. They said that they had been waiting forever for the drinks they ordered.”
Something was bothering Lillian after she came back from Room 3 on the third floor. Judging from her colleagues‘ expressions, she could tell that none of them knew what had happened in Room 3. They also had no idea something terrible had happened on the third floor.
She realized that someone had blocked the news.
In other words, only Lillian knew what had happened.
There was a slight chance that a few others also knew what had happened.
Yet Lillian knew very well that those insiders had been warned to keep their mouths shut.
Lillian was scared. Meanwhile, she was trembling with anger.
Annie’s words gave Lillian an excuse to vent her fear and anger. Lillian said loudly, “Annie, mind your own business. What makes you qualified to judge others? Have you done your job well?”
“What do you mean? When didn’t I do my job well? Annie was a sassy girl, and of course, she wouldn’t give in to Lillian.
“You should be in charge of Room 3 on the third floor today, right? Then why didn’t you go there? Why did you let me go there?”
Lillian thought, “If it weren’t for you, would I be in this mess right now?
You were supposed to suffer today. I saved you by filling your shoes!
“Annie, at least, you should thank me, Lillian said.
Annie looked at Lillian as if Lillian was insane. Then Annie said, ‘Are you crazy?”
Annie thought, “Why should I thank you? Because you replaced me and went to Room 3 on the third floor?

“Why should I thank you? Guests in rooms on the third floor are always the most generous with the most tips. I got replaced for no reason, and now you’re asking me to thank you? You must be out of your mind.”
“You have no idea!” Lillian’s eyes were red. She pointed at Annie and shouted, “You have no idea at all! Today…
“What?” Annie raised her eyebrows. In her eyes, Lillian had been an eyesore for a long time.
Annie thought, ‘Does Lillian think she is pure simply because of that innocent face of hers? She is a complete nervous wreck! And she never thinks of others. She is so selfish.”
Lillian was so angry that her eyes were red, but she could not say anything.
Such a big thing had happened on the third floor. However, the atmosphere in Fittro Club was still as usual. And no one seemed to know anything. No matter how stupid Lillian was, she still knew that she should keep her mouth shut.
“Stop looking at me like that. Your eyes are red like hell. Whoever sees us might think that I’m bullying you,” Annie said mockingly and then turned to leave. She didn’t bother talking to Lillian at all.
