The Beginning Of All Sins - Chapter 244
Chapter 244
“Did you have a nightmare?” Tyler asked.
“I’m so scared,” Olivia replied, her voice trembling.
She pulled her legs up, seeking comfort in Tyler’s embrace. She wrapped her arms tightly around his
neck, her face hidden against him, looking for safety like a small child.
Tyler held her close, his face pressed against her shoulder, soothing her by strolding her tangled hair.
“Don’t worry, our baby is doing just fine, cozy in your belly. It’s not going anywhere,” he reassured her
softly.
Feeling a bit calmer, Olivia hugged him even tighter, mumbling into his neck, comforted by his
presence.
Tyler gently placed his hand on her belly, whispering, “Let’s both be the best company for our baby,
okay?”
Olivia nestled deeper into his arms, pressing his hand against her, the uneasy feeling in her belly
seemed to disappear.
Softly, Tyler kissed her ear, saying, “Be good, baby. No need to make mommy worry, okay?” He then
kissed her lips gently, offering comfort.
Olivia allowed the kiss, not pulling away. Gradually, the kiss turned long and deep, bringing a moment
of quiet between them.
When they finally stopped, Tyler breathed softly near her lips, “I’ve heard that babies. choose their
parents from heaven. It must’ve known what a wonderful mom you are that it chose to come here.novelbin
Olivia looked down, responding quietly.
Then, they hugged each other even tighter, their closeness offering mutual comfort.
In the dark room, at 2 am, Tyler stayed by Olivia’s side until morning. She fell asleep in his arms, still
asleep at 8 am.
Tyler stepped out briefly, asking a nurse to check on Olivia.
Linda, Gina, and Marianne were waiting at the door.
Marianne was anxious and tried to explain, “Tyler, G–Gina didn’t do it intentionally… S- She just…”
But Tyler cut her off and asked Linda to take her away.
“Yes, sir.” Linda was secretly startled to hear that. She said to Marianne, “Let’s go somewhere else.”
Marianne, seeing Tyler’s indifference, reluctantly left with Linda.
Tyler then confronted Gina. “If anything happened to the baby, did you think your life would be spared
by bringing Marianne along?”
Gina had a history of rivalry with Naomi over Tyler, with Naomi always being the clear choice for him.
Naomi and Tyler were childhood sweethearts and classmates for many years. Gina was just a clown
between them, trying everything to separate the couple during their university years.
Marianne and Caleb’s families had arranged for them to marry, so they grew up together. Through her
connection to Caleb, Gina got to meet the Harrises. Unfortunately, the Harrises looked down on her.
